Media Cell
The Media Cell is primarily based in the Pune University campus and consists of student volunteers from various cells as well as few dedicated alumni representatives. This is an integrative cell wherein all cells are represented.
The purpose of Media Cell is to disseminate information about PUMBA through www.pumba-online.com. It achieves this by publishing blogs, videos or audio about Pumba events and achievements of Pumba Students and Alumni. It also handles Press Releases for print media.
The Media Cell also covers interesting events that happen in the University of Pune campus.

Knowledge Management
Hi team,
Glad to see the efforts being put up for make over of the site.Kudos!!! Incidently I was working on a project on Knowledge Management at HCL, and the idea is so brilliant that it can be implemented at PUMBA too. let me clarify....
The concept of KM is that specific skillset of an individual should not leave the organisation (PUMBA in this case),although the person or student leaves. this can be done by the way of simple documentation. for example a beautiful report prapared by sumone on "Retail Management" should be available for subsequent batches to come and should not jus wade away with the current batch.
This can be done by a simple way of creating a database to begin with. The system cell can be applied here for management of the same. Once this is done the second stage cud be a "Wikipedia Approach", that is to initiate a topic and get information from students. I am jus trying to give an outline which needs to be refined and applied for.
Almost most of the organisations are following it and infact "Marketing Guys", if they at all go thro sum books..will find this concept. I'll be glad to assist in this or any such developmental step for PUMBA.
