Please don't upload reports that might contain company confidential information. You may want to edit the report to remove such sensitive information.
You may also want to describe your experience working with a particular firm, how you got the project etc. Avoid putting contact information such as phone numbers, addresses etc.
You must log in to view or upload these reports.

Market Research Projects
Hi All,
This has specific reference to Mkt students who plan to do Projects in Mkt Research.
Whenever a Company approaches for recruitments for summer projects, with a market research profile, it obviously wants to know the complete demography of the area with respect to their business. In order to comply with the organisation's goal (Mkt Research), I suggest to cover as much of area as possible. remember, the accuracy of the result is based on the depth at which the research is carried out.
This however tends to be monotonous, but take it up as a challenge as you have only 60 days in your hands. Believe you me, If you really prove beneficial to your company, their is no dearth to the support you will get from it to carry out the research.
Also remember why you are doing this project!! I often hear that Market Research Projects are only Data Collection Projects. But are company's so senseless to hire MBA's for data collection by paying them double of what they could otherwise. The gist lies here, Though it might appear Data Collection, do it the MBA style (You have a complete subject on it, go through it again. Carry the book with you during your summers)
And that's not the end of it. The report you generate, is the most vital point. make sure you explain the complete report to your reporting manager after you submit it to him. These conclusions are very very important to the organisations, feel free to give suggestions to the company (from changing the decor of the office to apponting a female receptionist!!! (pun intented))
Last but not the least. Support your Project with a list of Potential Clients which you have met and could bring business to the organisation.
Thats quite a handful for 60 days, isnt it? The bottom line is, Whatever you do, take pride in it.

Strategies on Derivatives in Fin Markets
Dear all,
After my successful summer internship @ Karvy, I felt whatever I learnt could be enhanced to even greater learning and sharing for me and my batchmates and our juniors @ PUMBA and hence to take forward the learnings from my summer stint, I have uploaded my summer project on "Strategies for Derivatives" in the Winter Projects 2006 File share. Please feel free to go through the same and advice one and all with any suggestions and guidance. At the same time aspiring finance juniors from PUMBA 2008 batch can take valuable guidance from the project.
