Harsh Sisodia, PUMBA Class 1997,  has joined Candid Marketing as vice-president, new business development and client services. Candid Marketing is a promotional marketing services company and specialises in below the line marketing services. Last year, International Marketing & Sales Group (IMSG), the emerging markets focused sales and marketing company, acquired majority stake in Candid Marketing.

Sisodia comes from 360 Degrees, the event management division of Times Infotainment Media, where he was associate vice-president, Western region. At Candid, he will be based in Mumbai and will report to Atul S Nath, CEO, Candid Marketing. He will play a national role and focus on consolidating the consumer marketing business and incubating a retail marketing vertical for the company.

After completing his MBA from PUMBA, Pune, Sisodia started his career in client servicing in 1997 with Bates David Enterprise (then Bates) Bangalore. He worked there for a year and a half and joined Rediffusion DY&R in New Delhi. He worked there for more than five years and then moved to the agency’s Mumbai branch for two years. Some of the brands he worked on during that period include Canon, Daikin, Onida, Franklin Templeton Investments and Tata Sky.

In his next move, he joined 360 Degrees, where he has spent close to a year and a half. Among his recent assignments, he mentions a project by Habitats for Humanity International (HFHI), an NGO devoted to building affordable housing for the poor. About 3,000 volunteers from across the world participated in this project last year to construct 100 houses within a week at Patan village near Lonavala. Apart from HFHI, he contributed to other initiatives of clients including Deutsche Bank, Walt Disney and Asian Paints.
