Summers'07 which was organized on 8th & 9th Sept.07, was a rocking success. This is a nation-wide bschool competition for the best Summer project done this year.
Mr. Manish Kolambekar--Head, HR, Symantec was our Special Guest.
The judges varied from field to field right from Mr. Shashank Pathak
(VP-Gitanjali Gems), Mr. Domonic Mendonca (HR-TATA Motors) to Mr. Amit
Karde (Persistent)
Out of the various colleges that sent the entries, the following had been shortlisted-
IMI (Delhi), NITIE, N.L.Dalmia, SIBM, SCMHRD, D.Y.Patil, HNIMR, AISSMS, CMRD.
The winners for the event were-
Marketing--Sachin Doshi (NITIE)
HR--Pooja Bal & Priyanka Bhonde (HNIMR)
Systems--Brijesh Shirodkar (NITIE)
Finance--Shahin Surti & Kevana Kotadia (N.L.Dalmia)
Operations--Sujit Soman (SCMHRD)
This year, PUMBA students too got a chance to present their Summer Project, and following were the participants (06-08 batch)-
