BEYOND THE BUZZZZ……. Finally the D-Day arrived and was abuzz with lots of activity … PAT duties being duly carried out, Corporates walking down the aisle to loop the noose around the chosen ones, placement co-ordinators executing anticipatory orders …. And finally, the students waiting with fervor to make the choicest offers their destiny!!! October 15^th the Day “Zero” for placement saw the usual fanfare with 37 students being placed in biggies like DCB, HCL , ICICI, TCS, Adventity, Nihilent technologies , Nicholas Piramal India Ltd, Voltas and many more.

With the ball starting to roll and roll fast, the placement season has begun with a big bang. The reason being, this year saw day zero being followed up with eager alumni working together with the recruitment teams to place PUMBA students under their league. Kudos to all of you who made it a point to come to the campus and be a part of your companies team during the placement process .It made a huge difference to all of us on this side of the table, to feel a sense of comfort in knowing we are being guided by you, in feeling confident of knowing where and what we lacked in.

To name a few of our alumni who were a part of the placement procedures are Saurabh Tartey(DCB), Vinayendra Jain (Honeywell), Niranjan Soman & Sonika Mundra (Nihilent technologies) Sarang and Sameer Singhvi (Adventity) , Anup Pradhan (Nielson Bases) . We are sure many others are working behind the scenes and helping raise the bar for PUMBA. And so, the alumni cell salutes all of you, for your concerted efforts and we hope the same spirit keeps flying high. So, ultimately …what we have seen is that it’s not the mere buzz that works but real conversation that’s gets the market ticking….
