Mr. Ranjan Ghate, alumnus of '99 batch & '03 batch, visited PUMBA on 4th January 2008 & had an interactive session with the seniors & juniors ('08 & '09 batch).

He discussed deeply about the IT industry, the career path in it, the scene outside India as he has worked almost in every major geography in the world.

Mr. Ghate, who did his MBA Marketing in '99, came back in '01 for his MBA in Systems & graduated out in '03. He has worked with Satyam on various projects with clients like Microsoft, Nissan, etc.

The session was entralling for the seniors & the juniors alike. The juniors cleared their innumerable doubts about their new sectoral specializations' confusions & also the role they should look forward to, that they can expect to play in the IT industry.

The session was a huge moral booster for the students looking for IT as their career as Mr. Ghate could throw a good light on its future prospects & especially the impact of rupee's appreciation against dollar & its long term effects.

We expect & encourage more & more of our alma-mater to come to PUMBA (new campus) & share their immense knowledge & experience with the new batches so that they get a right direction to their career.
