At Quick Heal we recently organised AVAR 2008 ,a global security conference from 10th to 12th December 2008,  at Hotel Taj Palace in Delhi . AVAR is  a major annual event for all , concerned with IT security. We were worried about attendance of the foreign delegates after the Mumbai bomb blasts, and yes there were cancellations, but what encoraged us to go ahead was the tremendous support from some of the key participants, who motivated us to go ahead with the conference . It was the first time that such major event of the security industry was being held in India, and there were lot of key papers on the malware threats and their evolution. Im keen to share some of the interesting things discussed . Will write about the same in the next post.
