Dear PUMBAites,
Greetings from PUMBA!
Mr. Neerad Trivedi (1998 batch), GM - KPIT Cummins, visited PUMBA on saturday, 10th October 2009 to help us structure the mentorship programme.
Following are the MOM of the discussion
1) Allocation of students and mentors, as per their fields of interests.
2) Arrange for guest lectures (map the guest lectures that took place earlier and invite them again)
3) Send a communication to the mentors
4) Decide on the mode of communication between the mentor and the students in case the mentor is not from Pune.
5) The mentorship programme should help bridge the gap between the theory and the industry requirements. The practical application of the concepts is missing in the students. The students should also be aware of the terminology used in the industry.
