Advancement in Science, Arts & Commerce has changed the scenario of the world. It has also impacted the population at large and has been successful in changing the way of living, of the man. It created a major change globally, and actually turned the world into a global village. What seemed impossible or hard to imagine earlier, the industrial revolution has actually made many things possible. Many new innovations, concepts and thoughts were put up and it has brought a complete new culture into the society. People started moving from place to place and are no longer confined to one place. In such situation it has become very much important for a person to see that this planet remains a peaceful place for generations to come. But in order to do so, the present, needs to be rectified and proper planing and measures need to be taken. The man of future will face lots of challenges and will need to think on solutions. His problems would include; scarcity of resources, population explosion, social unrest, economic imbalance, environmental challenges, health measures, and most importantly preserving humanity.
We have seen that all the factors discussed above are all inter-related. The effect of one is actually causing a chain reaction and thus affects the other parameters. If we try to control one parameter, the other gets affected. For example, if population is not controlled now, then the demand for essential commodities will rise, i.e. the consumption will rise. No matter, the industries will try to satisfy the demand by increasing the production capacities, bring down the prices in some way but then it will affect the available resources. This in turn will lead to economic imbalance. If resources are scarce, alternatives would be found or new discoveries would be made. Population explosion will lead to expansion of the existing crowded cities. The cities will develop more vertically, but there would be scarcity of land. That means, people might even move towards greener areas and try to relocate there. This in turn will affect the environment. But as said earlier we can however stop the future from being a downturn of human race if we plan the present in the most efficient way. Many great people have suggested many good things that can be done without any bias in order to maintain humanity.
We need to first change our mindsets and have open minds to understand things. We need to concentrate more on efficient utilization of available resources. On one side, today we find that there is a division within our own society. We see people who have so much with them and they whole heartedly help the society, but still the society faces the same problems that existed earlier. No matter how much is said and done, but still there are orphans, people with disabilities, beggars on road side, small children working at different places instead of being in school. Problems are too many and yet we believe that the future will be secure. There has to be a purpose of the very existence of man, this planet, and the things that happen across the universe. May be these questions would remain unanswered to the man of future too. Science can teach how life came to existence, but it wont tell why it came to existence. Same way there are many more questions that would always remain unanswered, and may be that’s one reason why man will continue to explore different avenues in order to come back to a point where it all started. Now is the time when we all need to come together and focus on the major problems that might be faced in the near future. Let’s all come together and fight these problems in order to conserve the integrity, prosperity and resources of our planet.
