Pumba Online Connection

Dr. B. V. Sangvikar has taken over as new Head of Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), University of Pune. He accepted the responsibility from our former head Dr. Anil Keskar with effect from 1st November, 2007.

The Vodafone Pune International Marathon, held on 2nd Decmeber 2007 was
an extravagant event where PUMBA participated, and there were more than
50 students who did it voluntarily.

The students were a mix of the
batches 06-08 & 07-09. PUMBA participated in the AIDS CHARITY RUN
which was 4.5kms.

There was a great support from the University &
DMS management for this. 

Continuing with the increased industry - student interaction for the MBA++ batch at PUMBA , a guest lecture was organised on November 24 2007.

Students of PUMBA -Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune were captivated by Mr. S.P. Bhave’s lecture on "Teamwork through Leadership" at PUMBA Campus.

Mr Santosh Bhave is the VP-HR , Bharat Forge Limited , Pune which is the second largest forging company in the world.

My childhood vividly reminds me observing a scene of slum children pelting stones at every sight of a chameleon. Curiosity compelled me to question the perennial act and spot came the reply to which my comprehension skills concluded as "Anything that changes is bad, such change is detrimental". I moved on....accepting it as a true phenomenon

Of all the aids that technology has blessed us with, NONE can replace a TEACHER. It happens many a time that I feel so happy at the end of a lecture that I feel like clapping and applauding the lecturer. The attention that a teacher commands is stupendous.
