Class of '88 - 20 year reunion - Thank you

The class of '88 would like to thank you for your gracious hospitality, warmth and adulations during our 20th Alumni meet. What started as a whim for a few of us and perhaps an opportunity to binging  ourselves silly amoung old familiar faces turned out to be a great event.
While you were all hopefully motivated by seeing what I think is argueably one of our most successfull batches ( and there we just 1/5 of the team) we inturn learnt that the department that we left behind has made great strides. You have fantastic facilities that we hoped and fought for in our times.... And when we moved on, thought it was in vain. Not so.

Batch of 88 and the Battle of Khadki

Having contributed very rarely to this forum, let me begin with a quick introduction.
My batch of "88 will be celebrating 20 years of graduation from the University and hopefully we will get together for an Alumni meet this year in the University. Anyone from my batch please reach out so that I can include you in our ritual of email traffic that about sixteen of us are on now. My batch had about 120 mates, a few dead now and a few others disinterested but hopefully some who will join in. It will be great to get together even if for a brief spell and see if we have aged well.

As I sit in an isolated corner of the alumni cell to write this out, thoughts of the last few months rush to my mind... and hence… what was supposed to be a blog on the feedback of “NOSTALGIA ‘07” has,...as you'll soon find out,… shaped into a memorabilia in itself... an account of the memories we made for lifetime while organizing this event... a glimpse back into those lovely days… and in short an attempt to “re-live those memories”
