Top IT firms log on to social networking sites to hire middle & senior-level staff
LINKEDIN, FACEBOOK SEEN AS BEST HUNTING GROUND FOR PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE NOT DISGRUNTLED JOB SEEKERS

NEARLY half of new middle- and seniorlevel staff at top tech firms — including Accenture, Cognizant, Mindtree, HPMphasis and Wipro — are going to be hired from social networking sites such as LinkedIn, company officials and experts tracking the sector said.
Tech firms are now realising that middle-to senior-level managers and leaders are best hunted from platforms such as LinkedIn, where professionals are not necessarily disgruntled job seekers.

The reunion of the Batch of 1985 took place on 24th April 2010. It was a silver jubilee year for them and hence the event “Action Replay 2010”.

Since its inception in 1971, PUMBA boasts of 4000+ Alumni Base all over the world.
Recently it started new center in Ras-Al-Khiamah UAE.
PUMBA Chapter Meet is an Annual Alumni Meet held in 5 cities viz, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore.

Team PUMBA has secured 1st Rank from West Zone in B-Plan competition Shrijan-10.

Alumni Meet 2009

Hello

Attended PUMBA Alumni meet after long time, it was really nice to see the new campus.

Rather the sole reason for attending the meet was the fact that it was being held on the institute campus.

As always have offered to guide the students in the feedback form.

No input from them yet. 

 

We at alumni cell specially thank our alumnus Mr. Sachin Mulay (Batch1989) for all his help in getting down Miss Jessie Paul, Chief Marketing Officer, Wipro Technologies to PUMBA on Friday, and 25th September2009, for an interaction with the students.

Looking forward to continual support from all PUMBAites.

It often happens that when industrial biggies come down to campus and interact with young minds, they do not reach out to the shy yet enthusiastic approach of the students. But then that was surely not the case on Friday the 25th, when Ms. Jessie Paul, Chief Marketing Officer, Wipro technologies came down to PUMBA and munificently interacted with the students.
